Terms of service

These terms govern your use of LicencePath AI (the “service”), operated by Rainfame Tech Ltd. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

LicencePath AI helps you prepare for and manage the UK driving licence journey: theory practice, hazard perception, readiness scoring, an AI coach, test-availability monitoring and a marketplace connecting learners with driving instructors. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DVSA or DVLA.

Our content, readiness scores and AI coaching are study aids, not official guidance and not a guarantee of passing any test. Rules, pass marks and fees can change, always verify the current rules and fees on GOV.UK and in the official Highway Code. You remain responsible for your own driving.

Our booking tools provide booking intelligence, not a booking service. We monitor publicly available test availability and alert you to earlier dates and cancellations; you book, change or cancel your own test directly with the DVSA on GOV.UK. We never book, amend or cancel a test on your behalf, and we only act on availability information using compliant, authorised sources.

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 17 to use the service as a learner driver. Instructors must be at least 21 and hold a valid DVSA ADI or PDI registration.

• Don’t misuse, disrupt or attempt to break the security of the service.
• Don’t copy, scrape or resell our content.
• Don’t use the AI coach to seek advice unrelated to UK driving-test preparation.

Driving instructors on LicencePath AI are independent, self-employed professionals, not our employees or agents. We provide a connection, scheduling and payment platform, we do not provide driving instruction ourselves and are not party to the lesson contract between a learner and an instructor. Instructors are responsible for their own qualifications, insurance, vehicle and conduct.

Where you pay for a lesson through the platform, payment is processed by Stripe and a platform commission (10%) may apply. Our standard cancellation and refund policy for platform-paid lessons is:

• 48 hours or more before the lesson, full refund.
• 24 to 48 hours before, 50% refund.
• Under 24 hours before, no refund (the instructor keeps the fee).
• If the instructor cancels, you receive a full refund.

Where you arrange to pay an instructor directly, payment and refunds are a matter between you and them.

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown before you pay and are handled by our payment processor. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Statutory rights to a refund are unaffected.

The service and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own driving-test preparation.

We provide the service “as is” and don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for outcomes that depend on your own preparation and driving (including not passing a test), nor for the acts or omissions of independent instructors. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.
